A segment of white America was moved by the lynching of George Floyd. Organic protests spawned all over the country only to graduate to international protests. Many whites, particularly the younger generation, are crying out for change. Any human being who witnessed Floyd’s lynching on video should have been moved to act. A segment of White America has expressed a sincere interest in helping the cause. They want to help eradicate racism and live in a state of peace with everyone but seek guidance. In order for the latter to be achieved there are some hard truths that must be embraced by white America. The euphoria and momentum that’s been built based upon the lynching of George Floyd can be sustained, but it must be carried forward based upon truth, adopting an open mind and rallying around a common goal. Floyd’s lynching, while tragic, has provided the impetus to change moving forward. For those who truly want to adopt change below is a road map. I don’t expect to reach everyone.

Donald Trump has hijacked the lynching of George Floyd the germinate the societal seeds of white supremacy and racism to create mass chaos. He has stoked the racial coals in creating a fiery and dangerous climate of hate that is so grave that civil unrest is inevitable once those seeds come full bloom. In the home children are socialized to abide by and respect parental authority. In sports, franchises and athletes are expected to exercise decorum to respect their fellow competitors irrespective of the outcome. American citizens are expected to show deference and respect to the office of the President of the United States irrespective of their politics. My apologies in advance. I do not show deference to the racist ilk of Donald Trump. I do not vibe with or associate with known bigots because I detest racism and vile scum like Trump. There is a growing narrative that is being ignorantly embraced by a large segment of the masses. A segment of people have utilized energy condemning protesters/looters/rioters for “destroying their own communities.” If the city of Minneapolis burns to the ground, it burns. It is a small price to pay for the 401-years of suffering African-Americans have endured in this country. Now, allow me to explain. The lynching of George Floyd   lit the stem of the collective frustration with Americas unwillingness to extend the collective privilege whites have enjoyed in this country since they conquered the aboriginal people in the name of racism white supremacy. Now the bomb of frustration has exploded across the country and rightfully so. May 25, 2020 George Floyd was lynched in Minneapolis Minnesota at the hands of law enforcement for the whole world to see by way of video. Floyd was detained by four Minneapolis police officers upon leaving a store. It was alleged he had counterfeit currency. Based on various video accounts Floyd was not shown to be unruly nor did said accounts demonstrate Floyd ever resisted arrest. The only resistance that’s clear to a large segment of the world was former officer Derek Chauvin forcibly kneeling on Floyd’s neck that ultimately resulted in his death. This afternoon, Chauvin was arrested and charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter. As of this writing the other three officers have not been charged. It’s a damn shame that Chauvin was arrested so late in the game yet CNN Reporter, Omar Jimenez, a man of color mind you, was arrested yesterday on live television for merely doing his job.
